A hat-trick of tries by Letts in the first 5 minutes lead to Hinckley U13’s comprehensively routing Coalville to progress to the semi-finals of the County Cup.
After the shock of Letts onslaught and 2 conversions by an inform Ruskin, 2 further tries and 3 conversions by Ruskin were added to by Sephton, Nixon and Atkinson scoring 1 apiece before the cut-off point of 52-0 when the referee is obliged to offer the losing side the opportunity to stop the game.
Sportingly Coalville decided to carry on and indeed made much more of a competition of it for the last 15 minutes but still Holt and Ruskin added tries with conversions from Spence and Bromley before full time.
