Bromsgrove 10 Hinckley 6
In a real rugby match dominated by defences Bromsgrove struck the telling blow with just 15 mins to go after some sustained pressure. Hinckley had their chances to win the game, none more so than with a driving maul 5 metres out that was pulled down by the Bromsgrove forwards on the line for them to be awarded a scrum 5!! Interesting! The man in green certainly did not adhere himself to anyone and his intrepretation of the breakdown allowing the ball to be sealed off and players to be off their feet was interesting as was the fact that in the 1st half, play continued with a Hinckley man down injured and in the second half the reverse certainly did not happen.
Anyway good luck to Bromsgove as they move forward in the season and little old Hinckley now look forward to going to Peterborough to play their rearranged fixture from December 19th 2009.
